Tips on how to launder a Dixie Cup without ruining information technology?

Distressing, this postal service was deleted by the person who originally posted it.

It doesn't appear in any feeds, and anyone with a directly link to information technology will run across a message like this 1.

I used to paw wash and air dry mine. They can yellow, or the older ones did, when stale in a dress dryer. I'd just wet it, utilise a dab of liquid detergent, and a toothbrush for the inside that sits on your head, and any large stains or marks.

I'd imagine it's nearly impossible to machine launder these things and technically remain inside regulations for one reason and ane reason merely: they're supposed to be stenciled. And finding a stencil which wouldn't run or bleed at all in washing might be futile. Ways either meticulously manus-washing, or buying a new one.

The stencil pens I had in boot camp never bled or annihilation. Went probably hundreds of washes before it was too faded to read. See ITW TexPen. Still have stencils on some stuff 18 years afterwards.

Nosotros did on transport (Knox class frigate) otherwise it would go stolen.

This, merely I let it soak in a bathroom of oxyclean for several hours before placing information technology in the wash. Additionally, any new dixie loving cup goes straight into a ziplock purse to keep it as new as possible from time of purchase. This cover becomes my 'inspection' dixie.

I myself have thrown a Dixie cup in by itself with a tide pod. It hasn't hurt it however. Just I'm a chance taker lol. I also merely let it tumble dry with no heat.

I just wash it with other white wearing apparel with some oxiclean

Run a washer clean cycle while empty.

Then wash with some oxi make clean type stuff

Wash with other whites, calorie-free starch every bit desired, assail top of a lampshade or your caput to dry into shape. Don't put them in the dryer.

In boot camp they should accept been done together with your whole partitioning up to 3 times to get that weird yellowing out. They will be good as long equally your washing machine water is clean.
